Reset to factory settings affects all BB3 settings. Note that BB3, as you received it, is NOT in factory settings. Some things are already preconfigured by maker (or someone who preconfigure BB3 before You). Those must be noted and re-enter after reset to factory. Those settings are:
Note: if you didn't noted those settings, you may recover them (sensors assigning) or request for them or find them on BBserver (BB3 ID)
Starting from firmware version v1.07, default security code (PIN) is 123 and it's OFF. So if you did not remember last PIN settings, security is OFF after reset to default. If you noted previous PIN, you may change it in security settings as same as enabling/disabling it.
If the BB3 is going to be used with GSM reporting to BBserver, BB ID must be set. Follow instuctions here.
Temperature sensors used in BB3 project are 1-Wire type sharing one 1-Wire bus. It means, that they have a unique ID and that ID must be acquired and saved after reset to factory. Also, their location must be assigned to proper position. Before proceeding "reset to factory" or firmware upgrade, it's necessary to note their assigning here or here. If not, to locate each sensor position require advanced procedure, the same as the procedure when exchanging sensors physically. Following procedure must be followed for sensor position recovery after reset to factory:
